60 percent Afghans have lost their senses

KABUL:  As many as 60 percent of Afghan citizens have lost their senses, Al Jazeera reported.

According to the report, during Afghan war, more than 60 percent Afghans have lost their sanity due to living under a continuous fear of death caused by drones’ frequent flights.

UrduTribe also published a story of a 34-years old Sadiqullah, who then was a chef in a hotel of district Pach in Afghanistan, witnessed his friends and colleagues dying in a drone attack. Those memories have nested in his mind, he often begins to hue and cry as he reminds those fiery moment.

Afghanistan’s only standardized Mental Health hospital’s doctor, Dr Nadir Alimi said “Because of hospital’s shortage, I myself treated thousands of patients including common people, Afghan soldiers and even Taliban militants, most of them were mentally disturbed due to drones’ frequent flights and deaths they witnessed from drone strikes.”

Aljazeera report reveals that from 2008 to 2012, thousand drone attacks were carried out in Afghanistan aiming to hit Taliban’s hideouts.
