Injured Wahab Riaz ruled out of Sri Lanka T20 series

LAHORE: Pakistan’s premier left-arm fast-bowler Wahab Riaz has been ruled out of the two-match Twenty20 series against Sri Lanka following a hand injury.Newcomer left-arm quick Zia-ul-Haq has replaced Wahab in the T20 series commencing from 30th July.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka will play two T20 matches in Colombo on July 30 and August 1.

Wahab Riaz who was ruled out of Test and One Day series against Sri Lanka after sustaining a hand injury on first day of the first Test in Colombo, was expected to get fit again before T20 series.

However, PCB doctors advised him to take rest for one more week which makes him unavailable for T20 series.
