ISLAMABAD – National Electric Power Regularity Authority (NEPRA) on Friday issued show cause notice to K-Electric for bad worst distribution system.
NEPRA finally took action against K-Electric and send show cause notice to private power distribution company.
National Electric Power Regulatory Authority demanded answer within 15 days from private distribution company. Spokesperson of NEPRA said that K-Electric failed to fulfill the demands of agreement.
K-Electric failed to improve the distribution system. NEPRA send show cause notice after the four major break downs occurred in Karachi city.
If K-Electric unable to present genuine reason of breakdowns then NEPRA will take over K-Electric or K-Electric will face fine of 10 billion.
