Google+ Photos to be shut down by next month

WASHINGTON: Market dominating search engine Google has announced to close Google+ Photos from 1st August on Android, thereafter on the Web and iOS.

The giant internet browser is to replace Google+ Photos with ‘Google Photos.’ Google introduced ‘Google Photos’ as the new home for all your photos and videos. With Google Photos you can store unlimited high quality photos and videos for free, find photos fast, and see them organized by what matters to you.

The Google+ Photos users still have time to make a switch to the new app which is available on Android Google Play Store.

It is worth mentioning that all your photos and videos will still be saved and available after you switch to the new, stand-alone Google Photos app.

The new app offers its user a backup, edit, and photos and videos share with unlimited storage, automatic organisation, and more.
