DUBAI: International Cricket Council has updated Test bowlers’ ranking following the conclusion of the Ashes Test at Lord’s in which rampant Aussies hammered England by 405 runs, young leggie Yasir Shah has moved up one place to 3rd, his career best spot.
According to latest International Cricket Council (ICC) Test bowler ranking, Yasir Shah has jumped up one place to the third spot for the first time in his career. He remains the top spinner in the ICC Test rankings, the other three bowlers beyond him are all fast bowlers.
It is pertinent to mention that Yasir has played only his 10th Test match and grabbed the top spot among the spinners.
The young leggi claimed 24 wickets in three Test match series and cruised many national and international records. He was awarded man of the series as well.
