ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted Thursday that chances of Shawwal moon sighting will be very high on Friday night.

According to MET department report, moon would be clearly sighted in area of Balochistan Panjgur and other isolated areas. So there are fair chances that Saturday be the first day of Eid al-Fitr in Pakistan.

Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman (Chairman of The Central Ruet-e Hilal committee) would chair a meeting of zonal committee in Sindh at building of Pakistan Meteorological Department on Friday in Karachi.

Other members of Ruet-e Hilal committee will also attend the provincial and district meetings in their respective areas.
