ISLAMABAD: After the announcement of Shawwal moon in Saudi Arabia and parts of Pakistan it’s almost decided that Saturday will be the first day of Eid in Pakistan.
Majority of Pakistanis who follow Central Moon Sighting Committee (Central Ruet-e Hilal committee) for Eid and Ramadan are waiting for the formal announcement, expected on Friday (today).
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman (Chairman of Central Ruet-e Hilal committee) would chair a meeting of zonal committee in Sindh at building of Pakistan Meteorological Department today.
Other members of Ruet-e Hilal committee will also attend the provincial and district meetings in their respective areas.
