Regional stability is key to economic progress, PM address to SCO summit

UFA – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif attend the Shanghai Cooperation  Organisation summit on Friday and during his address he highlighted the importance of Pakistan in the region. 

While addressing the SCO, Nawaz Sharif said that inclusion of Pakistan and India in Shanghai Cooperation Organisation is good sign. He also said that SCO to prove catalyst of change Eurasia.

Nawaz Sharif said that our region is facing numerous challenges. PM told that terrorism, extremism, and drug trafficking are the biggest threats to the region.

“Strong collective response required to resolve regional issues and regional stability is key to economic progress,” he added. He advised that strong collective response required to resolve regional issues.

He also said that Pakistan attaches high importance to SCO.

PM told that Pakistan can play vital role to connect Eurasia heartland to Arabian sea.
