LONDON – Worcestershire’s bowling coach Matt Mason gives credit to spin wizard Saeed Ajmal for his team superb win against Hampshire on Thursday.
Worcestershire told Pakistan that Ajmal is not a spent force.
He gives credit to Saeed Ajmal for their latest win and said not only did he remodel his action, he found out new ways of getting people out.
Mason said Ajmal’s match-winning performance for Worcestershire was a testament to the hard work the Pakistan ace had put in and should bring him under the national selectors’ radar.
Ajmal was banned by the International Cricket Council for a suspect bowling action in August 2014, before being cleared to return in February.
The match against Hampshire was the off-spinner’s fourth First-class match since his return after remodeled action.
