Youm-e-Ali being observed today in Pakistan amid strict security measures

ISLAMABAD – Government has taken some extra security measures on Thursday to ensure peace and stability as the Youm-e Ali is being celebrated humbly in the whole country.

According to police official, Over 38,356 police officers, including 747 private volunteers of 887 peace committees, are performing security duties on the occasion of Youm-e-Ali.

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has also issued instructions to police, administration and concerned departments to make foolproof security arrangements in the whole province for Youm-e-Ali (AS).

Strict security measures are in place all over the country for Youm-e-Ali (RA) on Ramazan 21.

Mobile phone services are also likely to be suspended throughout the day besides an already announced ban on pillion riding.
