DUBAI: International Cricket Council has updated its Test bowlers’ranking at the end of Pak-Sri Lanka Test series that visitors clinched 2-1, Pakistani star Yasir Shah has managed to grab his highest Test bowler rankings.
According to latest International Cricket Council (ICC) Test bowler ranking, Yasir Shah has jumped up 5 places to clinch 4th spot for the first time in his career. He is now the top spinner in the ICC Test rankings, the other three bowlers beyond him are all fast bowlers.
It is pertinent to mention that Yasir has played only his 10th Test match and grabbed the top spot among the spinners.
The young leggi claimed 24 wickets in three Test match series and cruised many national and international records. He was awarded man of the series as well.
