ANTWERP – Captain of Pakistan hockey team, Mohammad Imran denied rumours of resignation and said that all media reports regarding his resignation are baseless.
Mohammad Imran denied the news regarding his resignation. He said that he will play as captain of hockey team for his country. Skipper mentioned that playing for Pakistan is a great hounour.
He told that if he decides to retire, he will announce through media in front of nation.
On Saturday, Pakistan hockey team’s chief selector, Islahuddin Siddiqui resigned from his post on Saturday due to the ordinary performance of team in World Hockey League 2015.
According to details, chief selector of Pakistan hockey team, Islahuddin Siddique resigned from his post because of poor performance showed by Pakistan team in World Hockey League 2015.
Some other members of Pakistan Hockey Federation, also resigned fro their posts.
In the last match of World Hockey League 2015, France beat Pakistan by 2-1 and Pakistan team failed to get at least seventh position in tournament.
