Renowned novelist Abdullah hussain passes away

LAHORE – Famous urdu novelist and script writer, Abdullah Hussain passed away in Lahore on Saturday.

According to the sources close to the family of Abdullah Hussain, he was suffering from blood cancer for last one year.

Family has not decidedĀ the time and the place of theĀ funeral yet.

Abdullah Hussain have been nominated for ā€œKamal-e-Funā€ award for 2012.Ā ā€œKamal-e-Funā€ is the highest literary award of Pakistan, given for lifetime achievement in creative and research work that carries cash prize of Rs500,000.

His novel “Udas Naslain” became widely popular both in Urdu & English languages.
