Islamabad, Rawalpindi and KP witness rainfall today

ISLAMABAD – Rain along with soft breeze dropped mercury and brought a pleasant change in the weather of twin cities and some parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday morning.

According to details, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Malakand, Kohat, Hazara division and Kashmir received rain this morning giving relief to masses suffering from scorching heat and electricity load shedding.

According to representative of Met Department, the first spell of monsoon rain in Pakistan has started and more rain is expected in Sargodha division, Gujranwala division and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In Islamabad thirteen millimeter rain was recorded on Thursday morning. There were rains in Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Daska and Bhambar as well.
