MADINAH: Pakistani political commentator and alleged vicegerent of Yusuf Kazzab, Zaid Hamid who was arrested in Madinah for his provoking speech against Saudi government some three weeks ago, had finally got permission to meet his wife in jail.
His wife Tayyaba Bukhari who left Suadi land after her visa limit was expired has returned after renewal of visa and was allowed to meet his husband in Madinah central jail.
Earlier, Pakistan foreign office took three weeks to confirm Zaid Hamid’s arrest in Saudi Arabia by saying “We are in contact with Saudi officials regarding Zaid Hamid’s case.”
Zaid Hamid is told to be under investigation for allegedly being Iranian informer and for his speeches against Saudi government.
