COLOMBO – Sri Lanka has defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in the second test match and levels three test match series by 1-1 on Monday.
According to details, Sri Lanka chased the target of 153 runs at the loss of 3 wickets on the final day of second test match.
Pakistan had won the first test match of series in Galle by ten wickets.
The third and final test match of the series will be played in Pallekele from third of July.
Earlier, Galle test became a memorable day in Pakistan’s cricketing history as it brought host of records for green shirts.
Pakistan not only clinched a ten-wicket win against Sri Lanka, but with victory, it has become the Asia’s most Test matches winning side with 123 leaving India behind with 122.
After test series, Pakistan team will also play five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and two Twenty20 matches in Sri Lanka’s tour.
This tour has gain more importance for Pakistan because it is the last chance for green shirts to get ticket for  International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy, 2017.
