ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister met in Islamabad, on Thursday to discussed the burning issue of BBC report and worst situation of Karachi.
According to details, Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister discussed the current situation of Karachi and also discussed the allegations impeached on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)of receiving fund from India by BBC in a report published on Wednesday.
They also discussed the Dr. Imran Farooq murder case. Special advisor to rime Minister, Tariq Fatemi also attended the meeting.
Premier of Pakistan and Chaudhry Nisar also discussed about the fate of BBC report regarding Indian involvement in Pakistan.
Earlier, the officials of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have told authorities in United Kingdom that they received money from India.
According to BBC, the authorities investigating the alleged involvement of MQM in terror related activities in Pakistan also found the list of weapons received by MQM.
An official from Pakistan told British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) that hundreds of MQM militants have been trained by India over the last ten years.
MQM has yet not come to the surface, and avoid commenting on the report, BBC report.
However, Indian authorities ruled out the report saying that the claim of BBC is ‘completely baseless’.
