ICC approves Zaheer Abbas

DUBAI – International Cricket Council (ICC) approved the name of the Pakistan’s former cricketer, Zaheer Abbas, as a president

The former cricketer of Pakistan will assume the charge next month as the president of ICC.

He will be Pakistan’s Second president of the ICC. Earlier Ehsan Mani had performed his services as a president of ICC.

Zaheer Abbas said that he was very happy with the news for appointing him as Pakistan’s president of the ICC, adding that it was cricket who had earned them fame and respect.

Zaheer Abbas represented Pakistan in 78 test and 62 One Day International matches.

ICC Chairman Sirinavasan also extended his congratulations to Zaheer Abbass for his appointment as Pakistan’s president of the ICC.
