ISLAMABAD – Senior journalist and analyst, Mazhar Abbas, said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will be in a big trouble after the report of BBC published on Wednesday.
While commenting on the BBC’s reports regarding involvement of India in terrorist activities in Pakistan via MQM, all senior journalists and anchor persons maintained that ground has become more narrower for MQM after the alleged report of BBC.
Senior journalist Mazhar Abbas said, this report will create serious problems for India for destabilizing Pakistan through MQM.
Anchor person and senior journalist, Saleem Safi, said that MQM have to defend all these allegations.
After few days Altaf Hussain will appear in British court in money laundering case, so this report will create problem for him.
“If there are strong evidence then it will create problems for MQM and also for Altaf Hussain who is facing Money laundering case in London.,” senior journalist and anchor person Talat Hussain.
He also said that MQM faced so many allegations of destabilizing Pakistan in past, but this time battalions of sorrow come for them, while they are already facing money laundering case, and Karachi operation by Rangers.
Senior analyst, Zafar Hilali, is of the view that state institutions of Pakistan are partially aware of the anti-state activities of MQM, but they cannot take action on media reports.
Pakistan state institutions lack solid evidences to launch clean sweep action against one of the major political forces of Pakistan.
Pakistan’s establishment and law enforcement agencies cannot act against MQM aggressively due to lack of evidences because they cannot legitimize their action only following the media reports.
