New Zealand vs England T20: English skipper decides to bat first

MANCHESTER – England won the toss and elected to bat first against New Zealand in the only Twenty20 match of the series on Tuesday.

England skipper picked same team for this T20 match that won fifth One Day International (ODI) match of the series.

Earlier, England sealed the series with a hard-fought three-wicket win in the final game of the five-match ODI series against New Zealand at Chester-le-Street in Durham on Saturday.

In last and fifth ODI   match of the series, Johnny Bairstow led his team with a match-winning knock of 83 off 60 balls, as England won the series 3-2.

According to details, the recent series between the two teams have broken the record of most runs scored in any five match ODI series.

During the five ODI matches between England and New Zealand 3151 runs scored which is the most runs scored during any five match ODI series.

However, before this, the most runs scored in any bilateral series of five matches held by Indo-Pak series of 2003-2004, where 2963 runs were scored by Pakistan and Indian team.
