Sarfraz completes 1000 runs in Test cricket

GALLE: Pakistan’s star wicket-keeper cum batsman Sarfraz Ahmed has become 7th Pakistani wicket keeper to complete 1000 runs in Test cricket.

Sarfraz achieved this milestone in his 16th Test match. He has 1049 runs in his 16 game for the green shirts at an impressive average of 49.95 runs.

He has so far scored three tons and six half centuries.

The wicket-keeper is currently with Pakistan team playing against Sri Lanka in first Test match at Galle.
