Pakistan vs Sri Lanka: Pak 54 runs ahead at stumps Day 4

GALLE – In the first test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the host team lost two wickets in its second innings at stumps Day 4 on Saturday.

Pakistan scored 417 runs in its first innings after Sri Lanka scored 300 in its first innings of the first test in Galle.

Pakistan obtained well figured lead of 117 runs in the first innings thanks to stunning century of Asad Shafique and quick 96 of Sarfraz Ahmad.

Sri Lanka in its second innings lost two very important wickets, with Century maker of first innings, Kushal Silva, got out on just 5 runs on the ball of Pakistan’s pacer Wahab Riaz.

Sangakara who is playing his last home series fell the victim of Yasir Shah after scoring 18 runs off 27 balls.

Wahab Riaz and Yasir Shah took one wicket each in the second innings of Sri Lanka till stumps of Day 4.

Sri Lanka will resume its innings from 63 at the lost of 2 wickets on the last day of the game.

It is, however, worth mentioning here that first day of the match spoiled by rain completely, with not even a single ball game taken place on the first day of the first test match in Galle.
