India to release 88 Pakistani fishermen tomorrow

ISLAMABAD – India will release as much as 88 Pakistani fishermen tomorrow. A day after Pakistan released 113 Indian fishermen, New Delhi announced that it will release 88 Pakistani fishermen mark the start of the holy month of Ramazan.

In a statement on Friday, the Indian Home Ministry said that out of a total of 115 Pakistani fishermen currently held in different jails in Gujarat, the government had decided to release and send back 88.

According to media source,“These 88 Pakistani fishermen have already left Gujarat and will be handed over to the Pakistani authorities at Attari border on June 21,”.

The Pakistan High Commission asked India to release all the Pakistani fishermen in the Indian jails which numbered 113 in total.
