MIRANSHAH – Security forces killed about 25 militants in an offensive against terrorists in North Waziristan Agency (NWA) on Friday.
According to official sources, the operation was conducted by security forces in Shawal area of North Waziristan Agency which resulted in killing of more than 25 terrorists.
The security forces also faced retaliation from the terrorist side, adding that heavy weapons were used between the two sides. However security forces succeeded in hunting 25 terrorists including a key commander.

Sources said that the dead bodies of the terrorists were being taken in to custody by security forces for further gathering of information regarding the group of the terrorists killed in the offensive.
