COLOMBO – The Chief of Army staff, General Raheel Sharif consider Sri Lanka a role model country for their struggle against terrorism and militancy.
Raheel Sharif was addressing to Sri Lankan army officers in Colombo who have passed out from Pakistan Army’s command and staff college, Quetta.
According to the press release of ISPR, Raheel Sharif is having a very positive and progressive tour of Sri Lanka.
Raheel Sharif acknowledged the sacrifices of Sri Lankan Army against terrorism and said that no army in the world can succeed against terrorism without support of nation.
During this particular ceremony Sri Lankan Army chief welcomed Raheel Sharif. During his speech, General Raheel said that operation Zarb-Azab continues with success as Pakistan Army is committed to uproot all forms of terrorism from country.
