Imran Khan slams federal budget, terms it anti-poor

ISLAMABAD – Chairman Pakistan Teehrek-e- Insaf, Imran Khan, has rejected federal government budget design of fiscal year 2015-16 on Friday.

Imran khan, while addressing at a seminar regarding tree plantation, has said that Pakistan Muslim League was presenting third budget after 2013 general election which brought Nawaz Sharif to power.

He said that in the current year budget the affluent people were again excluded from tax imposition circles, adding that this budget did not possess any relief for the poor segments of the society.

 

He said Provincial revenue minister, Ali Amin gandapur was faultless who had visited the polling station to stop the malicious practices being carried by the opposition parties, said sources.

Imran khan said that his party was ready to hold re-election of local bodies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK)  under Army supervision, adding that in this regard he would soon visit KPK.
