LAHORE – A daughter of female Member of Punjab Assembly tied her knot with a policeman deputed at their home for security purpose.
According to sources, the policeman, Asif Ashiq, was deputed since 2013 at female MPA house and had been performing his duty for two years.
Asif Ashiq and daughter of female MPA secretly tied their knots with each other, however, when the matter disclosed, the female MPA sought help from high police officials and two ministers of the ruling party.
Furthermore, the policeman, Asif Ashiq, absconded before the police could arrest him, said sources.
The police after failing to arrest Asif Ashiq, took his family into custody and shifted them to Lahore, later on his family was released on call of Member of National Assembly hailing from Gujranwala.
However, Asif Ashiq, was convinced by some MNA’s to break his knot with the female MPA’s daughter in return he would be transferred to his native city Gujranawala.
