ISLAMABAD – Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif announced metro bus project for Multan after successful completion of project in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
While talking to the inauguration ceremony of metro bus project in Islamabad, Shahbaz Sharif said that it is one of the world’s finest project.
Shahbaz said, “it is a “great” day in the country’s history.”
He said both factory workers and owners would travel in these buses. “Patients will go to hospitals through these buses. Our doctors and nurses will also travel through them. In fact, I myself will travel in these buses.”
Punjab Metro Bus Authority has been formulated to run the administrative matters of metro bus system, while an agreement has been made with Lahore Waste Management Company to ensure modern sanitation system at its routes.
Foolproof security arrangements have also been made on the route.
