LAHORE – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has finally decided the name of Zaheer Abbas for being the new Chairman of International Cricket Council (ICC) from Pakistan on Tuesday.
Asian Bradman, Zaheer Abbas, will take charge of the president of ICC from July 01, 2015.
Earlier, Najam Sethi, served its resignation from the anticipated post of being the president of International Cricket Council.
Najam Sethi said the other day, that I am serving my resignation to allow Pakistan to name any of the former cricketer for the said post.
Pakistan Cricket Board has, now, decided to make Zaheer Abbas the president of ICC.
It is worth mentioning here, that ICC has declared in its statement earlier that from this year onwards, the President of ICC should be any of the former cricketer, who would have better know how of the game.
Pakistan Cricket Board, following the resignation from Najam Sethi, name Zaheer Abbas for the chairmanship of ICC.
