KARACHI – It is being reported that the Rangers arrested target killers and criminals of gang war in a raid conducted in Saudia Colony and Paposh Nagar.
According to the sources, 5 criminals belonging to gang war including 1 target killer have been arrested during the raid.
Rangers spokesperson uncovered the details before media that 3285 raids were carried out in the metropolis while 2778 arrests including 12 high-profile terrorists were made since last five months.
The arrested persons included 150 target killers, 213 extortionists, 27 kidnappers, 12 terrorists, as well as the recovery of large cache of ammunition, rocket launchers, Kalashnikovs, pistols and other various genres of weapons was revealed.
He said that the security agencies have killed 178 criminals in 128 armed actions carried out against the criminals.
The paramilitary forces spokesperson said that 15 Rangers officials were killed in the attacks while 143 got injured in the targeted actions conducted in sensitive areas of Karachi.
