Najam Sethi Says ‘NO’ To ICC Chairmanship

LAHORE – The former chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and senior analyst, Najam Sethi, has stepped back from the Presidency of International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday.

Najam Sethi is the member of executive committee of PCB, and he was nominated for being the president of ICC.

He, Najam Sethi, now stepped back from the post and left the place for any former cricketer to take the charge.

Najam Sethi tweeted on Monday that he is retreating from his position and leaving the room for any one of the former cricketer to become the chairman of ICC.

It is of high importance to mention here, that Najam Sethi has to take charge of post from July 01, 2015.

Before, ICC has passed the rule that its president should be any formal cricketer from the next year.
