RAWALPINDI – Government of Punjab has decided to give permanent jobs to more than fifty thousand contract based teachers of Punjab on Friday.
According to sources, Punjab Government has decided to give permanent teaching jobs to those teaching on contract basis in different schools in Punjab, with formal notification of such decision to be issued soon.
According to report, some 2500 teachers out of those belongs to District Rawalpindi.
However, those teachers inducted after 2012 has also demanded to give them permanent status too.
On the direction of Chief Minister, Mian Shahbaz Sharif, Education Department of Punjab has approved to make permanent the contractual teachers of Punjab recruited before 2012.
Listening this news, teachers all over Punjab celebrated well with sweets distributed all around in the schools.
This is also revealed by sources, that teachers inducted after 2012, 4000 are from District Rawalpindi.
