ISLAMABAD – The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, said, on Thursday, that Youm-e-Takbeer is the most important day in the history of Pakistan which make Pakistan a first Islamic nuclear State.
While giving a message to the nation on Youm-e-Takbeer, Nawaz Sharif said that seventeen (17) years ago Pakistan became the first Islamic and seventh (7th) world nuclear power.
Nawaz Sharif further said that this day is the day of proud for the whole nation.
He said that It was a very tough decision to overtly become nuclear due to the prevailing world situation that time, but God provide courage to Pakistanis to see eye to eye to the world.
He said that strong economy is the basis of strong defense, and we are eyeing to uplift our economy to come to the pace.
He said that this is the very good indicator as whole nation is on the same page regarding terrorism and dealing with this menace.
Pakistan wrote history on May 28, 1998, and whole nation is proud on it, said Nawaz.
