Pakistan’s unique record in ODI cricket

LAHORE: As Pakistan clinched a great victory over Zimbabwe in first One Day International played at Gaddafi Stadium after six year, the Green-shirts have snatched a record from India during this thrilling match.

Pakistan not only broken the record of Indian cricket team while also made another unique record in this form of the game.

This is the first time that top four batsmen have scored 70 plus in an ODI.

It is pertinent to mention here that Shoaib Malik (112), Haris Sohail (89), Mohammad Hafeez (86) and Azhar Ali made 79 in the match.

On the other hand Pakistan also broke the record made by India on Pakistani soil of highest total against Hong Kong during Asia Cup 2008 scoring 374.

Yesterday, Pakistan made 375 to claim this record as well.
