Fatima Effendi Says “NO” To Indian Movies

LAHORE – A well know Pakistani actress, Fatima Effendi, has rejected an offer of playing a role of heroin in an Indian Film on Tuesday.

Fatima Effendi has performed her best role in the Pakistani drama series Man-O-Salwa, Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, Ishq Ibadat and Kash Mai Teri Beti Na Hoti.

According to sources, Fatima Effendi straight forward rejected the offer because she did not want to malign Pakistan image in India.

Sources said that the Pakistani actress was offered a huge sum of money in return of her performance to act in the Indian Movie.

According to media reports, Bollywood director, Anees Bazmi, contacted Fatima on telephone, and expressed his desire of casting her in his Horror movie but she rejected the offer.

Fatima effendi was lauded by Pakistani public, over her response to the Indian Director’s offer, on social media and other forums.

Many actors and actresses from Pakistan had accepted the offers from India in the recent past rather some had requested to Indian directors to give them a chance of working in Indian Movies.

She said that reputation of her family and Country is more important than gaining fame and money in India.
