Fake Degree’s Scam: Does Axact Still Hold Some Ground?

KARACHI -The New York Time’s blazing revelation about the software company of Pakistan has been strongly rejected by the compnay’s administration and termed it a media trial on Wednesday.

According to response by Axact, the article of New York Time was merely a false reporting to defame Axact, as the writer don’t possess enough evidence to prove his claim.

Some of the analysts suggest that, Since, Axact and BOL, a Pakistani Media group, administration are same, so it seems to be a rivalry of two media groups, which started blame game over Axact.

Axact said that the story is merely a result of personal enmity since Lakhani owned one of the media Group which is in partnership with New York Times.

Moreover Axact demands that their viewpoint of story should also be take into account before reaching any conclusion.

Earlier, New York Times published a story accusing Axact of having business of issuing Fake degrees all across the world.

After the report from the NY Times, Interior Ministry of Pakistan came into action a directed Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to investigate the matter to the depth of it, as it was defaming the name of Pakistan all around the world.

FIA, in this regard, conducted the raids in Karachi headoffice and Rawalpindi office of Axact and taken control of many computers, labs, and documents.

In depth scrutinization of documents and other stuff is under way in the forensic lab, while FIA revealed that they have captured many fake degrees too from the record of the company, which were to be given to Pakistani citizens.

Under all these circumstances, Axact’s officials and Axact’s CEO, Shoaib Sheikh, claiming the recent developments as the personal intrigues, and asking media to stop such media trial until the complete inquiry procedure of FIA.

Shoaib Sheikh, CEO Axact, said the other day that all the accusation leveled against Axact are fake and I will face all the proceedings standing firm in my position.
