WASHINGTON – New York Times’ report uncovered large number of fake universities around the globe: There are over 3300 fake “degree awarding institutes” in the world, New York Times report revealed.
According to this report, bogus educational institutes used to sell even the degree of Doctorate for fifty thousand dollars. Besides Axact, about 3300 unregistered universities are functioning worldwide.
Editor of New York Times appealed the government of United States to take immediate action against all those educational institutes which were involved in the distribution of fake degrees in the country.
This shocking report further reveals that the business empire of Axact used the names of renowned universities to enhance the sale of fake degrees.
Axact sold degrees of unnecessary courses at very high cost. Any degree, ranging from fake diploma to fake Doctorate degree, was available at Axact. New York Times maintained that it was very hard to believe that Pakistani government was unaware of that scam.
