ISLAMABAD – The special committee to probe the case of Fake degree scandal of Axact has been formed by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in collaboration with the Interior Ministry Of Pakistan on Tuesday.
FIA has formed the seven member special committee to probe the allegations put on by the New York Times on Software House, Axact.
The Director of FIA, Shahid Hayat, will lead the probing team directed to investigate the matter of fake degrees by Axact.

The Interior Ministry of Pakistan would be directly involved and overlook the proceeding of the case.
The investigation has already been started, and FIA’s team has reached the Axact’s headquarter in Karachi to start in-depth investigation.

The committee will investigate about the allegations in the first place, and then probe the matter on the technical grounds.
The committee will be comprised of four Deputy Directors from Islamabad, and three Deputy Directors from Sindh.
