TTP Commander Arrested From Quetta

QUETTA – An important commander of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) of “Sajna Group” along with a master mind of suicide attacks has been arrested by the security forces.

Explosives, suicide jackets and a bulk of weapons have been recovered from their custody. The terrorist was a key instructor to 30 assailants who had a plan to attack a check post of security forces in district Zhob on 30th of this month.

Confirmed sources also revealed that the arrested terrorist had also been meeting TTP chief Mullah Fazal Ullah, the most wanted terrorist on Pakistan’s list. The accused have also admitted their involvement in numerous terrorist attacks in Waziristan and Zhob.

One of his brothers is working in Balochistan Constabulary as well. The accused had come to Quetta some ten years ago along with his family from Afghanistan.

Upon the arrival of intelligence reports, the security forces arrested and recovered weapons, suicide jackets, explosives and some maps from their custody.

The commander has accepted to be involved in more than 40 incidents of terrorism in Waziristan and Zhob and that he had been having meetings with Mullah Fazal Ullah and Rafi Ullah frequently.

The security forces have started searching for the adherents in the light of information obtained from the arrested commander.
