Rangers 78 suspects including target killers in Karachi crackdown

KARACHI: As many as 78 suspects including target killers have been arrested by Rangers in several raid across metropolitan city Karachi.

Rangers Colonel Tahir said that the raids were conducted in several areas including Khamiso goth, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Shah Faisal colony, North Nazimabad and Orangi town.

He further said that rangers have detained several target killers, extortionists and other workers of banned organisations.

Tariq told media that they also have recovered heavy weapons from the arrested persons.

Earlier, Rangers personnel also patrolled near Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headquarters Nine Zero.

It is pertinent to mention here that following Safoora Goth incident Ranger have conducted several raids in the city and claimed to arrest several target killers and other persons.

All those where shifted to some unidentified places for investigations.
