Saeed Ajmal To Change His Bowling Action Again

The International Cricket council (ICC) had banned Saeed Ajmal last year due to his controversial bowling action of bent arm.

Recently he joined the team during Bangladesh tour after rectifying his bowling action. However the PCB does not deem this new action as an effective one.

Therefore, Saeed Ajmal would be suggested to play County Cricket because the long bowling spells in the county cricket would help him work on the diversification of his deliveries, making his action more effective.

PCB maintains that this was his own decision as he had to undergo a biomechanical test and was not yet ready for that.

It is obvious that the Selection Committee was also criticized due to the ban imposed on the off spinner. Saeed Ajmal has contract with Worcestershire and it is an “A category contract”.

Due to his last year’s excellent performance in this county, there are chances that he would be successful in becoming a part of it.
