Youth Must Be Kept Away From Arms; Lt. General Naseer Janjua

QUETTA – Lieutenant General Naseer Janjua said that youth of Pakistan should be kept away from arms and ammunitions on Sunday.

This is the excerpt from the speech given during the regional inter district cricket tournament’s closing ceremony which was held at Quetta on Sunday.

The young generation is living in an independent country which has been founded in the name of Islam, he added.

He also said that there is anger and fire everywhere in the country, and many noted political leaders are airing the youth to demand separate homeland for them.

People killing their own brothers and sisters in the name of independence would be held liable to God, he added.

He welcomed the national cricket heroes and said that their visit has proven that Balochistan has become a peaceful place.

Lt. General Naseer further added that by promoting sports we aim to bring peace in the province. For that purpose young players are with us.

The green flag of Pakistan is waving in every corner of Baluchistan and from everywhere the sound of long live Pakistan is coming.

He shared his views that the youth of Balochistan is talented and we are happy to acknowledge that in collaboration with PCB a tournament has been arranged in which the young people of the province got the opportunity to show their abilities while playing with national heroes.

Whose presence has bolstered the spirits of youth and the time is near when youth of Baluchistan would be part of Pakistan Cricket team. The efforts of PCB to arrange the tournament here are also commendable.

The legendary players like Muhammad Yousaf, Javed Miandad, Nasir Jamshed and Saad Naseem were present on the occasion.
