JI faces strong criticism over displaying Kashmir less Pakistan map

SHEIKHUPURA: Jamat-e-Islamai (JI) came under fire after the big blunder as they have mistakenly installed the banner displaying a country map but Kashmir was not shown as the part of Pakistan, ARY News reported.

According to details, JI organised a program on Islamic Educational System in Shikhupura where JI chief Siraj-ul-Haq was the chief guest of the program.

But the organisers of the program faced strong criticism after the banner placed at the back of the stage had the wrong map of Pakistan.

It is pertinent to mention that Kashmir is divided between India and Pakistan but both claim the whole of the region and have gone to war twice over its control since partition in 1947.

After being pointed, JI Seikhupura Chief Rana Tauhfa Dastagir accepted the mistake of placing wrong map of Pakistan and vowed to take organisers to task for the negligence.

JI is considered to be one of the supporting political party for Kashmir’s independence from India and also hold several protest against Indian brutal violation over innocent Kashmirs demanding to become part of Pakistan.
