HARIPUR: As many as seven people were killed including three assailants when the armed men attacked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) local leader Javed Khan’s convoy.
According to details, the armed men opened fire on the convoy of Javed Khan in Haripur. Police immediately replied and killed three assailants while four men of the convoy were also dead in exchange of fire.
Javed Khan who is scheduled to contest by-election on PTI ticket at Haripur Khan council also injured in the attack.
Rescue teams rushed the site and shifted the injured and the dead bodies to the nearest hospital.
