MALAKAND: As by-election in Lower Dir is completed, now the unofficial and polling results have started to come as Jamaat-e-Islami leads in the combine 40 polling station results.
The seat of PK-95 fell vacant after the nomination of JI Ameer as the senator.
Neck to neck contest is expected to be between JI and Awami National Party which is turning out to be as it was expected.
JI candidate for the election is Aizaz Ul Mulk who is leading with 8115 vote, while the candidate for ANP Bahadur Khan got 7674 votes so far.
Today is public holiday in the Lower Dir Distritc for the peaceful conduction of election.
