KALLAR SYEDAN – DCO Rawalpindi Sajid Zafar Dal has given the approval of sixteen air conditioned buses which would travel between Rawalpindi and Kallar Syedan.
A private company is assisting the district government in this regard and the service would be available to the citizens in three days. During the visit of Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan to Kallar Syedan a few months ago, a citizen had demanded bus service between Rawalpindi and Kallar Syedan.
Answering media, Secretary Regional Transport Authority Awais Manzoor Tarar said that the formal approval of 10 flying coaches had been given which would facilitate the transportation between Rawalpindi and Kallar Syedan. The last stop would be TMA building Rawalpindi.
The fare between Rawalpindi and Kallar Syedan would be Rs. 64 whereas the stop-to-stop fare has been kept Rs. 16.
In addition to comforting the people of Kallar Syedan who have to travel between the two places on daily basis, the bus service would also break the monopoly of private transporters. The local leaders of PML-N appreciated the move and thanked the Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan.
