Power transmit wire falls on a wedding bus, killing nine in Dadu

DADU: As many as 10 people were dead when a high tension electricity wire of 11,000 kWh fell on the wedding bus in Dadu, local media reported on Sunday.

The bus was going to Dadu from Baid Sharif when a high tension wire of 11,000 kWh fell on to the passenger bus which caught fire.

Four passengers were killed on the spot while six were succumbed to death in the way to hospital.

As many as 26 people were injured in the incident. The dead includes six women a child and a man.

The bodies and the injured have been shifted to the nearest hospital. The injured were reportedly 40 to 50 percent burnt.
