Azhar Ali sustains ankle injury, participation in 2nd Test doubtful

DHAKA: Pakistan star batsman Azhar Ali has sustained ankle injury during first Test match between the Green-Shirts and Bangladesh.

According to details, he suffered a blow on his ankle on the fifth day of the Test match when Tamim Iqbal played a short which hit on Azhar’s ankle.

He went back to the dressing room and didn’t field in the match on the day. His participation against Bangladesh in 2nd Test match is also doubtful.

Team management will decide after the X-ray report of the batsmen.

It is pertinent to mention here that Azhar has batted beautifully in the first match in which he made 83 runs.
