ISLAMABAD – Imam-e-Kaaba, Sheikh Abdur Rehman Al-Sudais, will lead the Friday (JUMA) prayer in Faisal Mosque Islamabad.
The sources told that thousand from the twin cities has reached Faisal Mosque as it was directed to the people to reach Mosque before 11 am to avoid any security related issue.
The source told The News Tribe that Imam-e-Kaaba reached the Faisal Mosque and he is in the rest house of the Mosque at this moment.
Imam will lead the Friday prayer and will give the Friday sermon in the Mosque.
Talking about the security situation Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Ch. Muhammad Ali, said several teams are working vigorously to ensure implementation on traffic and security plan keeping in view the expected crowd on Friday.
The commissioner also said that the doctors, ambulances and Para-medical staff would also be available to provide medical cover in case of any emergency.
People will have an opportunity to offer JUMA prayers in ‘Imamat’ of Imam-e-Kaaba Dr. Abdul Rehman Al-Sudais who is a Ph.D scholar from Umul Quri University Makkah and also a member of Sharia committee constituted by the grand mufti of Saudi Arabia.
