ISLAMABAD – The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has issued a notification to reduce the price of electricity by Rs. 1.59 per unit in Karachi on Thursday.
NEPRA issued the notification on Thursday to cut down the price of electricity per unit in Karachi and the same will be applicable in the month of May all across the Karachi.
The decision is taken against the fuel adjustment of the month of February.
NEPRA received the application to reduce the prices of the electricity, and it has approved cutting down the prices on Thursday.
NEPRA has also showed concern of regularization of the electricity plan in Karachi.
The officials said that we will make electricity supply the most transparent one and will take every measure against the thieft of electricity anywhere in Pakistan.
